This beautiful and thematic 8-piece insert is designed for Survive: Escape from Atlantis! (30th Anniversary Edition) and all available expansions: The Giant Squid Mini Expansion, 5–6 Player Mini Expansion, and Dolphins & Dive Mini Expansion.
The terrain bin, printed in beautiful marine blue, has designated storage for all three types of terrain: beach, jungle, and mountain. The tiles fill flush to the top of each compartment, making it easy to see if any are missing during cleanup. A second bin holds all creatures, dice, and small boats. Finally, six boat-shaped bins have slots for each player's ten explorers. The insert holds all game components snugly in place, allowing the game box to be stored in any position.
The boat bins are mainly for fun, in keeping with the theme of the game. (They also help to fill up the space in the very large box.) The numbered slots in the boats are for cleanup only and serve no real purpose during the game. In fact, each player should take care not to reveal the value of any explorers to others both during initial placement and when removing explorers during the course of the game.
While perhaps not recommended, the large player boats have been tested in water and do float. However, explorers must exercise extreme caution when using boats. TrayMaster is not responsible for any explorer deaths due to drowning, shark attacks, collisions with whales, or encounters with hungry sea monsters.
